Mums Like You is a site for mums to stay connected, share stories and recommendations in a fun and safe environment. At Mums Like You we know motherhood is thrilling but can also be very hard work, especially when you have to juggle work, home and family. There are times when just talking to someone makes a big difference. So this is what Mums Like You aims to be – an online community where like-minded mums support and help each other.

In addition, we believe that there is enormous value in mums’ collective knowledge and experience. Therefore this site wants to pull together everything mums want to share and to make sure it is easily accessible for the benefit of all mums. So sign up and enjoy being a part of the network.

Our plans for the future Mums Like You is a newcomer, but an ambitious one – we want to become a favourite online destination for all mums. And to get there, we need your support. Help us by contributing actively to the site, spreading the word to your friends and colleagues, and inviting mums you know to join. Message from the Founder

Hi, I am Iveta Tancheva and I am the founder of Mums Like You. I decided to set up the site a few months ago when I lost my job in the City and stayed at home to look after my baby daughter. The idea was initially to create a dedicated networking site which enables mums to stay connected and find new friends

When I did research on what is already out there and what mums want, two things became clear quite quickly - that mums are keen to interact in multiple ways online and that word-of-mouth is an extremely important source of information for them. These findings were instrumental in extending the capabilities of Mums Like You to enable mothers to access valuable information quickly and efficiently and solve real-life problems online.

For example the “Reviews” section aims to become an extensive directory of mums’ recommendations for local schools, nurseries, hospitals and so on. The online Forum on the other hand, will offer the opportunity for mums to chat online, ask questions and find already posted information. Finally, the Marketplace area enables mums to sell stuff they no longer need, advertise their business to potential customers or partners, raise awareness for charities and much more.

In short, Mums Like You is packed with useful features and it is up to each member to use the site in the way they want. So I hope you join Mums Like You and enjoy being a part of the online comumity!
