Well it's been a while since I've written my blog because I've been so busy promoting the Peggylicious books and new range of pet and children's accessories!  In the past few weeks I've done a book signing at Waterstone's in Cheltenham, had a number of interviews with the local newspapers and been on the local radio!  It's been real fun but very tiring as I've had to fit in my 'day job' in as well being Mum to my 3 daughters.  My delivery of fabulous children's hair and fashion accessories arrived yesterday and I'm spending the weekend pricing and packaging them ready for the craft fair at The Brewery Centre on Saturday.  Really looking forward to it.   Of course, mustn't forg...

Had a fantastic day yesterday at Octavia's, a children's book store in Cirencester.  I'd been to show Octavia my book a few weeks ago and she loved it and asked me to come back and do a book signing.  I'd managed to agree with the editor of the local paper the Wilts & Glos Standard to run a competition offering free books to their readers and they all turned up at the store to get them signed.  Alongside the Wilts & Glos readers were Octavia's normal customers who were all lovely and really interested in Peggylicious.  So all in all it was a great day.  For any of you living near Cirencester, I'd really recommend Octavia's in Black Jack Street, it's a real treasure trove of ...

Peggylicious Finally Comes To Life

After 20 years of always wanting to write a book, I've finally done it.  It's not the block busting, bodice ripping,Jilly Cooper type book I thought I'd write, but it is about something I love and it has given me great pleasure to finally see an idea I had come to life on the page.  It's about my lovely black cocker spaniel, Peggy and her friend, cheeky Tibetan Terrier, Archie. I used to meet Archie's mum every morning to walk our dogs across the park and from that sprang this idea about creating a 'famous five' type series of books but with dogs instead of children. The first book is called Coming Home - Peggylicious and The Do Good Dog Clan  and it's all about how Peggy came home to&...

If you wee given the choice of only one set of muscles to condition, which would you choose. I hope this testimony will help you in your choice.   Hello I wanted to share my recent experience with my fellow mums I have 2 children (3&5) and just over a year ago I suffered from a uterine prolapse  (aged 35). I am fit and active, but was not doing my pelvic floor excersise as often as I should.  After months of treatment, with little progress, I met a specialist trainer Jenni Russell  jenniirussell@aol.com  who runs group and private pelvic floor clinics. Within 6 weeks, the improvement was amazing:  This is a topic that concerns us all   , but few of us speak up. I have been sa...

The prize for the Artful Kids competition was a piece of styled artwork created from your child's painting or drawing.  The winning entry, complete with photograph, was revealed in the last post, so this time I thought I would display a photo of the styled artwork created from that entry.
