I am an unashamed sweetcorn addict, and Georgie is showing signs of following in my footsteps in this matter.. mind you, she is also following in her Daddy’s footsteps and becoming a cheese addict – she just loves food it seems! So far, Georgie has just been eating sweetcorn from a tin or frozen so I was interested to see how she would react to being presented with it still on the cob, albeit in adorably small portions.
As we are following the baby led weaning method I am always on the lookout for new finger foods for Georgie to try – as I have said before we are trying to avoid her developing fussy eating habits if possible, by throwing a range of flavours and textures at her instead of it being all the same all the time.
The Sweetcorn Bites are the perfect size for a snack or side dish – they fit perfectly into small hands! We were rather amazed at Georgie’s ability to hold them and gnaw away happily. She really loved them, and so did we! They taste incredbily fresh and sweet, especially in comparison to the frozen mini cobs we normally buy from the supermarket.
